Twitch streamer Amouranth has consistently been one of the most popular and highest-earning streamers on the platform for years, and as a result, she's amassed quite a lot of cash. The recent Twitch leaks confirmed that Amouranth has made millions of dollars from Twitch alone, and that doesn't even take into account the many other ways that she earns money. Now Amouranth has decided to invest some of her money by purchasing a gas station, which will help with her $6 million federal income tax bill.
Amouranth detailed her decision to purchase a gas station on her Twitter account, explaining how the purchase will actually help with her taxes. According to her tweets, Amouranth bought the gas station for $4 million, footing $1 million upfront and taking out the rest in a loan. Amouranth goes into more details in her tweets, but thanks to the way US tax laws work, she will essentially come away with a $110,000 profit from her investment. She plans on leasing the gas station, which will also result in some passive income for the Twitch streamer.
Twitch has banned Amouranth on numerous occasions, but even if she were to completely remove herself from the Internet, she should already be set for life and then some. Amouranth has leveraged her Internet popularity to become incredibly rich, and it seems she has been investing her money wisely so that if she were ever banned permanently, it wouldn't be the end of the world for her.
There are many other ways that Amouranth makes money besides Twitch, but she does have a significant presence on the streaming platform and data shows she actually streams longer and more frequently than many other streamers. Considering how much money she already has, some may be surprised that Amouranth still works to produce Twitch content, but she clearly has a passion for it.
While Amouranth is perhaps best known for suggestive ASMR and hot tub streams, she streams other content as well. Recently, Amouranth shot to the top of the Animals, Aquariums, and Zoos Twitch IRL category due to her ranch streams.
It remains to be seen if Twitch ever decides to ban Amouranth again, but so far none of the bans have stuck. The reason for Amouranth's latest Twitch ban was never revealed, but Twitch reversed the decision in a matter of days, giving the controversial streamer her account back. There have been no banning incidents since then.
